i really love hayate no gotoku !!!!!!!! and i ‘m a nagi x hayate fan they just rock
but sometimes hinagiku katsura seems really annoying and irritating , why do she have to act like as she is the main heroine well its non of my bussiness but i feel bad for nagi because she is having a competitor that can take away hayate frm her
and i just can tolerate the faact of nagi’s height why do she has to so small in height ? well if she was having a height around …… like maria and open hair all the time no ponny tail then she would look reaally great and i’m sure that hayaate would definetly have a crush on her thats really obvious but then too nagi is cute and fascinating and sorry for such a long comment

Great review, but I have to point out that Hayate doesn’t really have a crush on Maria. There have been a few episodes where he’s blushed around her, but due to innuendo and circumstance, I doubt any male character would have done differently. There was some obvious speculation in the anime, but hardly any real solid proof Hayate has Maria as a romantic interest. I also heavily disagree you playfully calling Hayate a “playa” – because while yes, he does react to many female characters with a blush or inner monologue, he hasn’t chased any girl or purposefully did anything perverted. Protecting Nagi and being a good butler seems to be top priority to him, at all times.

I do appreciate there are more people out there wondering about Hinagiku’s popularity. She’s cute, yeah, but so are most of the characters in the series. She really strikes me as Mary Sue, being near perfect with her studies, sports, is not naive like most of the rich characters, and is of course head of the student council. She doesn’t really have an interesting quirk about her. She’s bland, and quite frankly, because of her forced popularity and higher appearance in media compared to the main characters, I find her immensely annoying.

Overall, nice review. :>

Of all the anime cuties out there, don’t you think Hinagiku’s the one? Or you, as an otaku have perhaps another you feel for? Just curious!
