Working on a project that is taking the episodes of this series and cataloging them for relevance in regards to the study of the Humanities. It may just be the perfect subject for a future thesis. Not only the philosophy of the series but the reference and relevance to the study is quite interesting. Instead of looking at this as just another Anime it may be justly so to take a little more. There is no such thing as a true blue sky.

YES KINO’S JOURNEY! Whoo! I love this series! My favorite episode would have to be the one with the three men on the railroad tracks. It feels like something you’d read in The Book of Virtues or some fairy tale. XD

We are also both big fans of Mushishi and Should-A-Coffin Kuro. I do not mind the single adventure format but I can tire of it. So I tend to split up those type of series with another series that has an over-arching story.

I love this show. I still have only seen about half of the series, because I want to buy it. I didn’t have money while it was on sale at rightstuf and it was out of stock last I checked. I really need to get it sometime.

This kind of series is one of my favourite types. I’m also into Mushishi and Shoulder a Coffin Kuro which share some similar traits.

Kino no Tabi was one of my favorite series at the time I was watching it (probably 4 or 5 years ago). I really like these types of shows, a traveler going from place to place exploring the world around them and meeting the many varied cultures that inhabit this world. That’s probably why I’m a fan of such shows as the various Star Treks and FarScape. Mushishi (though I haven’t finished it) is a show very similar to Kino’s Journey, but with a bit of a mystical twist.
