I was also quite impressed with the depiction of the Bloody New Year’s Eve in the movie. I was afraid it was going to look totally cheesy and unrealistic. My expectations, thankfully in this case, were not met at all.

I really want to see Be A Man! Samurai School now. It sounds like my kind of movie.

For anyone who enjoyed Lala Pipo, I would recommend another (less perverted/comedic) documentary called “The Great Happiness Space” which is about a group of guys working at a host club in Osaka. I found it surprisingly engrossing. Did you know that the majority of women who visit male host clubs are actually hostesses themselves? If you have Netflix, you can stream it online (with subs thank god) rather than waiting for the DVD to ship.
