• Brigid Alverson’s Women and Superheroes: We’re Just Not That Into You?
  The latest article in the ongoing recent conversation popping up all over the internet about women and comic creation. This also has links to the many other posts on the topic if you need to catch up.
• Catwoman short animation announced
  This will be bundled with the upcoming direct-to-video feature Batman: Year One. So now I’m doubly looking forward to the release.
• Trailer for MTV’s new teen show Awkward
  A funny and cute look at teen life coming this fall.

Hisui’s picks:

• The Carnival Phantasm Preview 1 and 2
  It was going to eventually be mentioned on the blog so I might as well put it here. Look it is Riesbyfe Stridberg. Death did not stop her from being in Melty Blood and it won’t stop her from being in this.
• The scrapped plans for Fate/Apocrypha
  Apparently there were plans for an online games in the Nasuverse that never came to be. But there are some great profiles on Servants created by various artists that were proposed. Hopefully one day we will see the magical Shakespeare and berserker loli Frankenstein in other projects.
• Aksys Games licenses Fate/Extra
  Yeah Fate/Extra! Any time we get from Saber in the US I will mention it. Also they picked up the otome visual novel  Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom which was an odd but interesting choice.
• Berserk Golden Age Arc I: Egg of the Supreme Ruler
  The first new Berserk movie has a date and a title.
