  After catching up on Mike Dent’s Friday Ace podcast I became aware that MangaGamer picked up Dengeki Stryker. While it is a pornographic game it seems to be filled with hot-blooded Tokusatsu action. I mean Masaaki Endoh of Jam Project does the opening.
• Tomopop Reviews Super Robot Chogokin Weissritte
  My birthday is the 21st so the readers can feel free to buy that for me. Or just dress up as Excellen Browning.
• Mawaru Penguindrum Round Up
  A collection of reviews of the first episode of  Mawaru Penguindrum, which just so happens to be my favorite show of the news season via Skull Candies. Kunihiko Ikuhara has created a show layered enough that different reviews will notice different things going on.
• Excel Saga Manga wraps up after 15 years
  From the news desk of things only I care about.

• Hitch animated short
  About an Alfred Hitchcock-themed cookbook! At a mere 3-minutes this animated short has a lot of impact and style not to mention nice tongue-in-cheek humor.
• Kaito Kid hijacks Conan’s TV slot! . . .
  . . . for four weeks starting in August. Kid has a huge fan following, myself included, so this bit of fun is much anticipated.
• Frank Miller’s portrayal of Batman as an idea
  This mirrors some of my own thoughts about how Batman affects the average citizen and how Miller shows that. Also some good musings on Batgirl.
