hisui_icon_4040 Look Tsukihime fans if nothing else Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA ILLYA remembers you guys exist even if Nasu does not.

Also if you guys stop hating Ciel and Saber I just might lift the curse on you all and let you all have the Tsukihime remake. But only if you start behaving.

While the plot has passed through the filler portion which turned out mostly to be a pleasant scenic route as opposed to a traumatizing detour there is still a little (but expected) downtime before the final battle with the mysterious 8th card. Hold on to your hats because past this point it is nothing but fighting. The last four episodes should be great. Until then it is time for the crew to eat, drink, and be melancholy!

That is usually “and be merry” but all three of our heroines are in a bit of a funk on the night before the battle.

Every week we will share our memories and then re-evaluate these stories with 16 years of experience and distance. Which episodes are just as we remember, which have major flaws, and which have aged like a fine wine. At the same time, we will also look back on the music, cultural references, and holistic connections contained within each episode. Plus, we will judge if there in an appropriate amount of Ein.

And now your helpful bartenders at The Speakeasy present your drink:

Garden Elixir

  • 1/4 cup gin
  • 5 cilantro leaves
  • 1/4 cup dry vermouth, preferably Noilly Prat
  • 1/2 tablespoon green Chartreuse
  • 3 tablespoons apple juice, preferably fresh
  • 1 tablespoon celery juice
  • Dash of fresh lime juice
  • Nasturtium flowers, for garnish (optional)

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the gin and cilantro and shake. Add the vermouth, Chartreuse, apple juice, celery juice and lime juice and shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with nasturtium flowers.
