• Minimalist Marvel Posters
  I’m in love with these! The only exception would be Thor which doesn’t seem simple enough, I think he could have gotten away with just the hammer.
• Recent Animated Features That Won’t See a U.S. Release
  Kind of surprising if you watch the trailers. Leafie especially feels familiar though perhaps that is the problem, it seems like the type of story we saw in the 80’s and 90’s. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for them to show up NYICFF.
• Zelda Animation Competition
  Nintendo is running a contest for amateur animators using Flipnote Studio on the DSi. I’m looking forward to seeing the winners on the 25th Anniversary website!

• Mattel’s Rerelease of Voltron Toys
  I am super stoked for these. I don’t care if I haven’t seen the new series, all I need is the original.
• Ice Cold Water – Remix
  The man is officially a phenomenon proven by blog posts, forum threads, and even music remixes.
• Disney Adapting Tuexdo Gin
  I really don’t know what they are up to with this. I’ll be curious how much they keep of the original and how much they just wanted the basic concept.
• 8-bit Game of Thrones
  College Humor did a great job with this, now everyone is just hoping someone will come along and make a real, playable version!

They heavily hinted they would stream Fate/Zero in the US. In honor of that is the the King of Knights in a suit from Fate/Zero.

• Womanthology
  This is a project that is being funded using Kickstarter and being printed by IDW for charity. It will be a collection highlighting modern women comic creators and is enjoying major buzz already considering they raised more than the necessary $25,000 in less than 24 hours! 
• Avengers Academy Murder Mystery
  There are about a million announcements coming out of SDCC, but this one made my ears perk up for obvious reasons.
• A look back at controversial Wonder Woman of the 70’s
  Wonder Woman seems to spark lots of controversy and it is nothing new.
• Mickey Mouse robot Vinylmation figures
  I am not big into designer vinyl toys, but these new robots have gotten me to take a second glance.

• Jojo’s Spinoff Runs in Women’s Fashion Mag
  So a shonen fighting series gets a spin-off in Shueisha’s women’s fashion magazine Spur. Only Jojo’s. Only Jojo’s.
• Megaman Legends 3 is No More
  Capcom decided that what their feet needed more than anything else was another hole in them.
• Wonderfest is in full swing!
  Instead of handpicking the best figures from the show I will just link to all the news and let you choose.
  Fine you twisted my arm. Here are some good picks.
• Let play “Otaku Bingo”: Otakon 2011 Edition
  Since a bunch of us are going to Otakon we might as well all play!
• Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman – Manga Schoolgirls!!
  This is so … odd. But I love Neil Gaiman and my feelings for Alan Moore are easily summed up by a great Something Positive comic.
