• The Scarecrow
  The perfect melding of advetising, information, and entertainment. Easilly one of the most beautiful pieces of animation I’ve seen lately. I haven’t tried out the game though.
• Geeky Money Art
  This art project in which people paint over Queen Elizabeth’s face on coins makes me feel like we aren’t doing enough with our U.S. money!
• Things Coming to Head for Superheroine Movies
  Every week there seems to be a new discussion or article about having more woman as the stars of superhero blockbusters, is change just around the corner? I would definitely love to see a Black Widow movie and of course a Wonder Woman one.
• DLC Fabulous He!
  Amazing musical number about DLC set to Aladdin’s “Prince Ali.”

 Alain’s picks:

• Legend of the Cabbage Dealer
  It is nice to see the OSMCast regularly podcasting again. This time they talk about the first season of the Legend of Korra. I think that is the most positive I have ever seen anyone be about that show’s ending.
• Beautiful Dreamer
  A promise fulfilled. All Geeks Considered does a short podcast about the Mexican sci-fi film Sleep Dealer.
• The Woman Who Dares Love Gundam
  The Gundamn crew looks at the three book series, Ganota no Onna, aka Gundam Otaku Girl.
• All The Rose Dance Revolutions
  I don’t normally link to the Crunchyroll News fan art posts but when it is Utena related I will make an exception.
• Beyond Good and Evil
  Proof positive that Mike Rugnetta has really gotten into Attack on Titan.
• WRYYYYYY!
  Banzai! We are getting JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle! Oh boy. The real question is the game so authentic to the manga that it makes sure any member of the Zeppeli family cannot make it to the end of a tournament and win.
  Foo Fighters as voiced Ryoko Shiraishi is only in the game as an NPC but I would not rule of the possibility of her being a playable character later on.

  • Vin Diesel: Vinnie and Vince Averello go on the Ani-Gamers Podcast to talk about their experiences at Otakon. Done live in their car on the way home so it is extremely conversational.
  • The Heart of Otakon: Ink and Evan discuss the panels at Oatkon. I consider panels the heart of any con.
  • Apparently I Don’t Matter: Ed Sizemore goes on the Beta Male Experience and talks a bit about Otakon as well as Elysium. I did not know Patz ran a panel about Gundam alone. I swear I have a slightly different memory of that panel.
  • An Interview for the Mongrels: And Ogiue Maniax interview with Tomokazu Seki.

  I don’t own a car, but if I had to buy a new one right now? It would be this one. Ah, the power of advertising!

  Hilarious and poignant.
• The First Kuroko’s Basketball Figure
  This is a great 1/8 scale figure. The movement looks great as does all the details pertaining to it.

  Too perfect the character even resembles Luke.
• Some P.A. Works Storyboards for The Eccentric Family
  Looks like these were just photographed, would love to see such things collected into a book in the future. I’ve been really impressed with this series.

• All Geeks Considered vs. The Social Order
  OK. It is not that charged an episode. But Ink from the Ani-Gamer is on to talk about three short stories which include Tim Maughan’s Limited Edition, Herman Melville’s Poor Man’s Pudding, and Rich Man’s Crumbs, and Brandon Sanderson’s Legion. Each short story looks a its own social issue in its own unique manner that reflects its author.
  
• It’s Not Too Late. To Whip It. Whip It Good.
  Chaos Theater takes on another huge video game franchise with a look at the Castlevania series.
  
• This is Solely Here Because of the Index Mecha
  Nyantype Magazine had Mika Akitaka’s do some Mecha Musume Mokocchi designs for popular anime heroines. I liked the Sphynx powered Index so I included it here.
• Better Late Than Never Otakon Podcasts & Reports
  Round 1 – This is the first group of straggler podcasts on Otakon. I’m sure there will be one or two more in the future.
  • The Revengeance of MAT3K: The Otaku Generation cast must combine their powers with Canada to tackle the 20th Otakon.
  • NEEDS EVEN MORE MUG: The OSMcast! and AWO team up to talk about Otakon 2013.
  • Artistic Puppy Murder: But before that the AWO crew preemptively talk about Otakon with a Midori – Shoujo Tsubaki review chaser.
