• All Paths Lead to Hayate
  It seems that the new Hayate anime will have each of the more significant girls (sorry Sonia Shaflnarz but you are not significant) will get their own episode with a unique ending song. I will say that I am amused that more often than not Isumi Saginomiya & Sakuya Aizawa are now a package deal. The real question is if Orumuzuto Nadja gets a secret episode.
• Now You Too Can be an Evil Mesoamerica Vampire
  It was only a matter of time before someone made a 1:1 scale mask from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. The only question is when can you get the Red Stone of Aja add on.
• Is There an Answer in the Catbox?
  This INCREDIBLY long YouTube series looks at a possible answer to Umineko that is not the standard answer. How true it is I cannot say. But it is an interesting alternative answer that I think is not without merit. It would add a more elegant if very depressing ending on a story that did not have a particularly happy ending as it were.
• Be Forever Yamato
  As Yamato Toys goes through a transition the Veef show looks back on what they have done for Macross toys over the years. Learn how there was at least one official VB-6 König Monster figure.

Narutaki’s picks:

• Mondo Game of Thrones Posters
  We’rea ll hyped for the new season which premieres in less than a month, right? These Mondo posters double it for me since they are way better than the ones I’m seeing on the streets and subway.
• George Lucas’ Next Project? A Museum
  Planned for the San Francisco area, Geroge Lucas wants to open a museum dedicated to comics, illustration, and film art. This sounds like it could be really special so I hope it all comes to fruition.
• Second Coolest USB Drive I’ve Seen Lately

I have no regrets. This is the only path.

• New York International Children’s Film Festival Begins
  I spent a good portion of my weekend at the festival. If you have a chance to see even one film, do so. This is one of my favorite annual events.
• Sailor Moon Cupcakes
  YUM!
• I Hate Cyclops, Don’t You?
  A most amusing (and totally true!) article about why people hate Cyclops from the X-Men. My favorite part: What are you the best at? Memorizing the X-Mansion chore chart? Get the f**k out of here.

• Citizen Brown is Watching You
  I have to say one of the few dub voice actors I can enjoy interviews with is Crispin Freeman. If nothing else he seems to have a background in literature and mythology that makes him interesting when the talks about his roles. So I was able to listen to his section and actually be entertained. Chaos Theater also talks about the 3rd game in the newest Back to The Future adventure game series.
• The Trailer that Plays like a Manga
  The latest JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle is extremely stylish. Even more than Jojo’s usually is.
• Now at Your Local Convenience Store Stand
  If you liked the Web Browsers as Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Stands than you might enjoy this as well.
• Still Making More Than I Do … Sadly
  It seems that the visual novel market is getting hit just as hard (if not harder) as all the other entertainment fields as they deal with piracy and shifts in media consumption.
• SCIENTIFIC Proof that Not Feeding the Trolls is a Good Idea
  It turns out the most effective way to deal with the nasty monsters of the Internet is not to engage them in the first place unless you have to. That seems a simple enough idea but sometimes they have to be said out loud.

 Can always use more Sailor Moon related art.

• Duke Fleed Protects Your Data
  We have the first Kickstarter project that Narutaki has contributed to. This is for a UBS stick in the shape of Go Nagai’s UFO Robot Grendizer. If it does well enough maybe they will add Koji Kabuto’s Double Spacer to the mix.
• What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas. Until the Con Report.
  Otakon has announced that it is branching out to adding a second West Coast convention in January. This convention in Las Vegas seems to have a good amount of buzz from anime fandom. I’m curious to see what guests they can get with a more iconic American city that is closer to Japan.
• Smash the World’s Shell. FOR THE MERCHANDISE OF THE REVOLUTION OF THE WORLD!
  It maybe 16 years old but they are thankfully still making merchandise for Revolutionary Girl Utena. Buy some while you wait for Penguinbear. Also if you read Japanese (or just like pictures) here is some additional swag.
• The Protagonist With No Name
  The latest trailer for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle shows that the main character from JoJolion has been added to the roster. I was wondering if they were going to include him at all considering that Part 8 has not been running that long.
• My Little Pony Discovers how to Make ALL the Money
  When you combine 2 fandoms in to one product like that it is almost impossible not to make some crazy money.

• Streaming ACTUALLY Matters
  Finally, Neilsen is implementing technology to measure streaming TV data starting with the fall 2013 line-up. The new process is low on details thus far and the first time around certainly won’t be perfect, but it is a step in the right direction. Will we soon see shows saved by their online streaming audiences that don’t tune-in to a show’s regular time slot? I hope so.

  Yeah, seriously, I have no words so cool.
