• An In-Depth Look at the Newspapers of Back to the Future
  Another great article that looks way too closely into a minor piece of trivia, this time the Back to the Future franchise is the target. I love when people note details like this.
• Superhero a Day
  A great project that has produced some super cool art from one Pixar artist.
  
• Is 48FPS the Next Step?
  There has been a lot of debate about 48FPS thanks to The Hobbit, I saw it in 24 FYI, but this article does a nice job of rounding up the arguments and making a few things clear like the technology limitations and how the human eye works among other things. I still don’t know where I stand but I can’t totally rule out that I might just “get used to it” eventually. But I’ve yet to really grasp, despite explanations, what advantage it gives filmmakers.
• Can’t Keep Kuroko Down!
  I was really happy to see Shonen Jump celebrating Kuroko’s Basketball despite all the insane threats surrounding it of late. A new wallpaper is released daily, and only available that day, and I missed the first couple sadly. And as the article states, the manga will got a special 19-page color chapter.

  All Geeks Considered podcast finally does a movie they were required to required by law (if we consider Narutaki the law … which we do).  Lets delve into the Fifth Element.
• Twice the Eef Power!
  If you liked the Veef show but wished for a co host and a bit more talk about modern shows than the new OtakuDX Show is for you. They also talk about Heavy Metal L-Gaim in part 2 but lets say MOSTLY new shows then.
• Always Fashionably Fabulous
  If you thought the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure madness could not get any greater recently then here is proof that Jojo’s can always top itself.
• This is a Joke? Right?
  Right? I am hardly an Apple fanboy but this is sort of ridiculous.
• Type-Moon News Roundup
  
  • Start the Year Off Right: A huge list of New Years artwork from various Japanese sites. There is the traditional Type-Moon contribution as well.

• Badass Science
  I just had to share a couple of advances in science lately that blew my mind. Between a mind-controlled robotic arm and being able to upload images directly into a blind patient’s brain, the future is close my friends!
• “What do we burn apart from witches?”
  A good review for the highly anticipated Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright crossover game. Though it does sound like Mr. Wright gets the bigger boost as far as gameplay goes. Still can we hope for a U.S. release somewhere down the line?
• The Most Tragic Backstory Ever
  Fist of the North Star you know how to turn the knife.

  An interesting article about another facet in the whole struggle of female fans and creators in comics from a female fan. I curious to see the reactions to her opinion almost as much as her opinions which are quite solid.
  
• Prelude to Foundation
  So where is the Second Foundation version of Wikipedia for when the twisted mutant version of the Mule known as 4Chan or Reddit wrecks the 1st Foundation?
  
• Panzer World Orta
  Gundamn takes a look at the somewhat overlooked medieval mecha anime Panzer World Galient in their first segment. They also look at editing in American adaptations of mecha anime.
• The Chaos War Series
  
  • Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man: Chaos Theater looks at the two young men who don the costume of the web-head in Ultimate Spider-Man.
  • Mion Sonozaki is a Saint and a Goddess:  Dive into the madness that is Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.
• Type Moon News Roundup
  • Nasu’s Deck of Many Things: A nice run down of what will be in the TYPE-MOON Fes. -10TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT- set.
  • Stand in the Place Where You Live: I mostly listed this for the pictures.
  • Sakura Secrets Reveled: A translation of prime pieces of information about Fate/Extra CCC. Is this the end of the infinite Saber money machine?

I don’t know what this is from, but the fun design of this Christmas art grabbed me!
