  Animate Girls Festival was all kinds of great announcements and reveals! My favorite was these new UtaPri figures, but sadly Syo doesn’t have one yet nor even a teaser pic.
  
• Behind-the-Skyfall
  Spoilers if you haven’t seen the new James Bond flick, you have been warned. I finally saw the movie over the Thanksgiving weekend and damn it was so good.

• All Your Childhood are Belong to Disney
  Gundamn! finished up its Patlabor Roundup with a few stragglers in the franchise. And then they tackle the fact that Disney just bought Lucas film and the surrounding nerd rage from the Internet.

  Dave and Joel are back with some Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure talk. Dave always talks about apartment brokers which is something I thankfully have never had to deal with living in New York oddly enough.

  Friend of the Reverse Thieves and Genshiken Fan #1, Carl Li celebrates 5 years of writing Ogiue Maniax with a look at his fandom before the blog.

• I Hope This Commercial Gets a Sequel
  Production I.G went all out in this promotional animation they made for Mercedes Benz. I’d definitely watch an anime about people hunting down legendary food stands in futuristic Tokyo. Also now I want ramen.
• General’s Hospital
  This soap opera parody on The Colbert Report pretty much made my week.

  This is what I call real dedication to your geekdom, just wow.
  
• Why Stop at Lucasfilm?
  There are now rumors going around that Disney is trying to buy Hasbro which means Transformers, G. I. Joe, and of course those now star ponies.
• Okay FINE, I’ll Buy Another Wolfwood Figure

• Organized Chaos
  
  • 36: Coincidentally just as Narutaki was talking about Bill Willingham’s Fables series on the Ani-Gamers podcast it seems that Chaos Theater had the same idea. WARNING: The Chaos Theater podcast is filled with major spoilers.
  • 37: A look at the films of Hayao Miyazaki. An examination of the good, the great, and the could have been better of his career. I think some of their opinions might be a little outside the norm but that is always interesting in of itself.
• It Has to be Better than James Bond Jr.
  It has to? Right? A new otome game called British Detective Mysteria has a Victorian setting and a dashing young Sherlock Holes Jr. and Watson Jr. It might be interesting if it gets turned into an anime. It looks super cheesy but that never rules out being fun.
• No Khal Drogo vs. Legolas?
  In classic Superman vs. the Flash fashion they ask George R.R. Martin who would win in a fight between some of his characters and Lord of the Rings characters. The nerd gloves come off.

  • Waiting is the Hardest Part: Aniplex is delaying the DVD release of the Garden of Sinners movies for a better release. At those prices they better do that.
