Fate/Zero TV #001: This Kirei Kotomine Seems Like a Trustworthy Chap

This is not a review. If you want an objective review you can check out ANN or any of several dozen episodic bloggers. This is a love letter to Fate/Zero. I am sure I will complain about one or two things, as is the nature of picky fans, but I’m mostly here to sit back and raise a glass to a series I love. So if you are here to celebrate the prequel to Fate/Stay Night or maybe try to make heads of tails of the fandom pull up a chair and join the celebration. Just remember that most of these people we meet in this series don’t show up in Fate/Stay Night. The Gravity of Fate

Sadly this article is not about Emperor Dornkirk and the Fate Alteration Engine but about how it is a wonderful time to be a Type-Moon fan. Carnival Phantasm season one recently came out and was hysterical. All was right with the world. Type-Moon then announced that the limited edition of the third season would come with the newest version of Melty Blood for the PC. All was even better with the world. Good Smile made-over their cafe to have a Carnival Phantasm theme. All was awesome with the world. While Type-Moon might be constantly pushing back the date for A Witch on the Holy Night, Girls’ Work seems more mysterious than real, and the Tsukihime remake seems like dream there is tons of good news for Fate/Stay Night fans. Saber fandom über alles!

Carnival Phantasm #002: Nobody Loves Ciel

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

I am continuing my Carnival Phantasm articles with Shance on his Rainbowsphere blog. Shance and I will examine each of the episodes of the first season of the show and maybe give some insight to the references for casual Type-Moon fans who can’t name off each of the characters in the Nasuverse with known reality marbles and what they do. The second episode is fun at the beach with Shiki’s innocence on the line. Actually considering his relationship with Jinan Tokie maybe the contestants are too late.
