This Saturday post is the weekly Type-Moon news in addition to the regular APB post on Sunday. If you have any suggestions for what to highlight on the Type-Moon Weekly News Roundup drop me a line via email or Twitter.
- The Back Alley Alliance Discovers Their Cosmos
It was April 1st this week so that mean that Type-Moon unveiled their April Fools page. They don’t leave them up long so it was already gone by the time I started writing this. But if you look around you can find the epic struggle of the girl of Back Alley Alliance to become heroines be defeating the 10 Gold Heroines in a very Saint Seiya like fashion. Oh and Pokemon battles.
Just in case you missed the whole affair you can get the episodes here or here. You can also get my summary here. If you wanted to see any older Type Moon April Fools pages they are archived here.
- Meanwhile at the UFOcafe
It seems that the web page has turned into the Assassin cafe.
- I Share This With You So You May Suffer Like I Did
I’m not sure WHY this April Fools joke disturbs me like it does. But something about is just so … unnatural.
- Past, Present, and Future of Sinners
The trailer of Kara no Kyoukai: Mirai Fukuin has been released and it is gorgeous. The epilogue to the Garden of Sinners arrives soon. Makes sense since the date is coming out has been narrowed down significantly.
- Come On and Take a Free Ride
Well actually more like a ¥4,743 ride but you get the point. This is a review of the Fate/Zero ex:ride SPride.05 Saber Motored Cuirassier. It is for everyone who wants a slightly cheaper and/or more posable Saber and bike than the combo from Goodsmile.
- Ichiban Kuji Shows that Fate/Zero Has More Than Saber
Some of the more underused characters (male and female) get a chance to shine as figures.
- ONLY 390 Dollars
Aniplex is releasing a super expensive Blu-ray Box of Kara no Kyoukai as opposed is the INSANELY expensive one.
- Can we Expect Fate/Extra 5Ds?
Apparently Fate/Extra CCC has been selling well enough that one wonders if we will see another Fate/Extra game.
- ALMOST Enough to Make me Play a Monster Hunter Game
It seems that lots of game an offering Type-Moon related costumes. Monster Hunter Frontier G is offering Saber or Archer outfits in the game. Poor Rider has been left out.
- As Takuto Tsunashi Would Say, “It’s a Pinch!”
These new phone strap Fate/Zero characters look like they are being picked up in a crane game.
- Have Breakfast with the King
Time to order!
