Type-Moon Weekly News Roundup: The Road Not Taken

This Saturday post is the weekly Type-Moon news in addition to the regular APB post on Sunday. If you have any suggestions for what to highlight on the Type-Moon Weekly News Roundup drop me a line via email or Twitter.

  • Fate/Hollow Ataraxia: Take 2
It seems like Type-Moon is really trying to give not just the Fate franchise in general more exposure but Fate/Hollow Ataraxia in particular. After re-releasing the sequel with the original in one nice box set they are also putting the game on the Vita with full voice acting. I’m sure they are also going to have a nice new opening probably with animation from ufotable.
I do wonder if this means we might get a Fate/Hollow Ataraxia anime in the future as well.
  • Everyone will be Shocked when it is the Leysritt and Sella Path
Speaking of ufotable anime, the news was dropped in the recent Type-Moon Ace about the new Fate/Stay Night series. The new anime will premiere in the fall and some of the production staff was announced.
The most interesting part were some of the rumors swirling around. For all the speculation about the anime being a Heaven’s Feel anime it seems like this might be an anime original path written by Nasu himself. Of course that means that speculation engines are in high gear.
If this rumor is true it might be very interesting. But only time will tell.
  • Thus Spoke Zarathustra
Nasu talks a little about the new Fate/Stay Night anime.
  • Even More Nasu
And Nasu talking about the creation of Tsukihime in the TYPE-MOON 10th Anniversary Phantasm book.
  • Long Live the Fighters!
The first official visual is up from the new Fate/Stay Night anime as well. Also in the article is the CLAMP drawing of Saber that is being given away as a Ichiban Kuji lottery prize.
  • The King of Queens
Another look at Beach Queens Illyasviel von Einzbern from the winter Wonder Festival.
  • More Mini-Skirt Arc
Return of the White Princess of the True Ancestors.
