I am glad you liked Noein.
I felt very shaky about my picks this year. Your MAL list is over a year out of date and I came across shows from pre-October 2020 that also weren’t listed as well which I discovered you’d watched only after a thorough search of this site. It was depressing to think I figured out a good anime to pick only to discover you’d seen it already. Noein was eighth on my initial list of shows to recommend and only got onto the list after the top 6 got deep-sixed.
In case you were wondering, the backup choices were Kanata no Astra and Koe no Katachi. I wanted to include something shorter and almost included A Silent Voice as a choice but I decided that you surely had to have watched it already.
