• Gundam RX-78-2 Cosplay
  Blows my mind!
• Lucy Liu Will Play Sherlock’s Watson
  CBS’s upcoming series Elementary is having details and cast revealed slowly. This new casting choice, you won’t be surprised to know has been received with mixed reactions, but I am really positive about it. More than anything I want this modernized version of the sleuthing duo to differentiate itself from the (fantastic) BBC rendition.
• This May Have Convinced Me to Play Minecraft
  Some very hard-working Minecrafters have been working on the world of Westeros from A Game of Thrones. The details in their King’s Landing build are startling.
• Amazing Star Wars Products That Were Never Made
  I think my favorite is the R2-D2 wet bar, that would fit in to any home theater! The Cantina 2-liter soda dispenser is interesting but odd, and seems hard to clean. The Han Solo popsicle mold makes the most sense, and to be fair they do have ice cube trays of it.

  Ed Chavez reveals the secrets of Tezuka, Gegika, and independent comics. Necessary listening for any one who cares about manga history.
  
• You Can Never Get Enough Redline!
  The first full OSMCast! for 2012 is online and it is about everyone’s favorite new film Redline. Not the first Redline podcast but also not the last. 
• Everything is Better with LEGOs. Even Koopalings.
  That is one awesome air ship. (And air ships are awesome by default.)
• Return of the Master
  After 20 years we get some new chapters of Master Keaton. I look forward to this as Taichi Hiraga-Keaton is an amazing character. Who knows? Maybe one day we will get a satisfying ending to Happy?
• This is Just Amazing
  If you are a Mass Effect fan you have to check this out. Don’t worry there are no Mass Effect 3 spoilers.

  • Maidxploitation Saber: Sadly she is not talking about how the gods are dead to her.

• Are You Enjoying the Time of EVE?
  Gundamn looks at the Time of Eve web series and movie. It is an easily overlooked little series so I am glad it is getting some recognition. The Gundamn crew also do an extended mail bag so you get to listen to good great listener feedback and questions as well.
• Lady Looks like a Dude
  Ed Sizemore is back with a panel of experts to discuss the second book of Princess Knight.
• Arrietty the Socialist Revolutionary!
  If you have not seen this news article making the round apparently Lou Dobbs went on diatribe on Fox News about how The Secret World of Arrietty and The Lorax are part of a secret liberal brainwashing campaign TARGETED AT YOUR CHILDREN. Of course anime fans reacted with a mixture of outrage and amusement to the allegations. Overall it is worth watching just to see how silly it is.
• Captian! I Detect a Hyperbole Cannon Being Powered Up in the Area!
  An interesting article about the impact of the Mass Effect franchise.  While the author’s praise borders on flame bait he makes some good points on the appeal of the series.

  • A sneak preview of the 2nd Fate/Zero opening.

• More Characters Revealed for Wreck-It-Ralph
  If you haven’t already heard about the upcoming video game based animated feature from Disney, shame on you. Anyway some new images and information was posted. Cameos include Dr. Wiley, Bowser, and Zangief among others.
• The ABCinema Short
  This short animation going through the alphabet using different films as inspiration is wonderfully executed. It goes by fast though so it is hard to catch all the references!
• Reimagined Indiana Jones Posters
  Get a graphic designers seal of approval!
  
• Do Not Look Directly At The David Beckham
  Kate Beaton’s sketch from her new tumblr left me very amused. This mostly sketch tumblr will keep you satisfied while waiting for more Hark! A Vagrant.

• The Best Valentines in Westeros
  Series’s with totally f-ed up relationships make for hilarious Valentines cards.
• Posters for New Dreamworks’ Films The Guardians and The Croods
  …look terrible. And as someone pointed out, the Dreamworks smirk has been taken to new heights as every character in The Guardians is doing it. I’m not saying they will actually be terrible movies, for one thing Chris Sanders is working on The Croods, but these first looks inspire no confidence what so ever.
• Impressive Detective Work on the Comics Piracy Front
  Thanks to an eye for details, a leak in Marvel’s process has been filled thus stopping pirates from releasing comics early on to the web. Which of course spirals into an anti-piracy debate on various sites that reported on it.
  
• Can You Apply Women in Refrigerators to Manga?
  Ogiue Maniax lays out some ideas on the subject and the various ways you may have to tweak the ideas of Women in Refrigerators to do so.

• A Celebration for the Life of the God of Manga
  On the 23rd anniversary of Osamu Tezuka’s death Twitter was filled with tributes to one of the most influential manga artists of all time. This forum post gathered some of them for your perusal.
• Return of the Awesome
  2011 was hardly an easy year for the OSMcast! that was hit with several devastating tragedies including the death of one of the cast.  But they have released a lost episode and promise to march forward despite their losses. Good luck OSMCrew!
• Someone Actually WATCHED Viper’s Creed
  The Gundamn! gentlemen reviewed Viper’s Creed which mostly seemed to come and go without much comment. They also talk about Mevio’s horrible treatment of bloggers, the end of Gundam AGE part 1, and how you can participate in their 100th episode special.
