I did another guest appearance on the OSMcast! and this time I am talking about Mass Effect 3. If you were active in any geeky circles you probably heard that the fecal matter hit the rotary impeller when the fans of the game learned of the ending to their beloved trilogy. Basil, Kevin, and I discuss the good (of which most of the game is made of), the bad (the ending and some other sticking points), and the ugly (most of the bad behavior all around). Still, I think we find a lot to like about the game and even have some good ideas on how to rectify what went wrong.

I was recently on the Otaku in Review podcast to discuss the best anime of 2011. Scott Spaziani from the Otaku in Review blog and Michael from the Otaku Gamer, who are the hosts of the podcast, were joined by Dustin Christianson from Bakacast, Kristina Pino from Japanator and Tomopop, and myself. We each discussed out top three anime of the years, the worst title 0f the year, as well as the titles that disappointed us the most. I of course picked three titles as my top three that no one else did. If that makes me have a broader watching palate or just a philistine is up for you to decide. Although Bunny Drop was the hand down winner on the podcast the picture is Penguindrum because I think it is the show Narutaki and I can both agree in our opinion was one of the best of the year.

I have made another guest appearance on The Digital Bug’s Visual Novel news podcast, the Eroge Bus. This time I go on to talk about the one subject that seems to be the most natural choice for me: Type-Moon. It is more an overview than a dissertation so I mostly touch a little on the history of the company and their more famous titles. If you were hoping for a lecture on Akasha, the Throne of Heroes, and Tohsaka Nagato you will have to request I come back for a more in-depth episode. Greg and I also chat about the latest news in the visual novel industry. Greg is the expert. I mostly make silly commentary. But it is a great podcast to see what is going on in the US and Japan when it comes to eroge.
