While waiting for the new Winnie the Pooh film to start, I got a pleasant surprise within the before film commercials. I heard the movie voice announcer say Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated was up next!

The short opens with Daphne, Fred, and Velma sitting in a movie theater when a cell phone starts to go off. Of course Scooby and Shaggy are off getting a mountain of snacks. There is a funny exchange between Fred and Daph after she thinks it is his phone; Fred is offended she thinks A) that he is that rude and B) that he would have such bad ring tone taste. They all then start to look for the “Cell Phone Phantom” which causes a lot more distractions in the theater beyond the ringing. This was a fun short that made seeing the common advisory about turning off cell phones worth watching. (Apologies for the mediocre photograph)
