Reverse Thieves 
I was not a fan of the first episode of Ikebukuro West Gate Park – in part because of how the plot resolved. The strange and bizarre new drug was… a pot derivative, as demonstrated by their sinister grow op? As someone who is in a state where pot is now legal that made me roll my eyes. However, the bit that made it worse was that the main characters brought down the antagonists by planting weed in their business and calling the cops, who they were working hand-in-hand with the whole time, which means that the cops knew that the drugs were planted and where to go to find them. That was a bad look in the late ’90s-early ’00s when The Shield came out, and it’s a worse look now.
