• Possibly the Only Reason I’d Visit Las Vegas
  All the pinball you could possibly want!
• Check Out Some of the Oscar Animated Shorts (That Aren’t Paperman)
  I really liked both Adam and Dog and Head Over Heels. Adam and Dog has wonderful hand-drawn animation and amazing team from all of the major animation studios worked on it as a labor of love. Head Over Heels made me tear up, it is a lovely little story. Despite liking all of the nominees, I still hope Paperman takes it.
• Zero Charisma
  This indie flick centering around a group of people who also happen to be D&D players looks both funny and melancholy. I really hope it hits NYC after its festival circuit.
• Mario Logic
  Just what is going on behind-the-scenes in Super Mario Bros.?

Hisui’s picks:

• Attribute of the Beast
  Phillip is finally back and this time he is updating his review of Cyber City Odeo 808 with Michael from Prede’s Anime Reviews. A review filled with nostalgia and cyberpunk action.
• Mass Effect: Interest Lost
  Chaos Theater looks at the lackluster Mass Effect anime that seems to have impressed no one. They also talk about part 2 of the new Back to the Future game from Telltale Games. It makes you wish you could go back and time and make that Mass Effect anime better.
• A Beautiful Poem to Giant Monsters
  Gundamn looks at the wave of sci-fi movies that are coming out this year and tries to find the ones that everyone can get behind and the ones that everyone should avoid like the plague. They also examine the somewhat lackluster Macross 30th Anniversary. I wanted to love you Ozma Meets Fire Bomber. I really did.
• The All Geeks Considered Podcast Fights to the Death
  • There’s no Gene for Fate: The male members of the All Geeks Considered podcast decide to be wrong wrong wrong about Gattaca.
  • Short Story Rashomon: Each of the three members of the podcast picks a short story and then the other two politely state that they did not think it was so hot.

• Sort of Like Manga Hägar the Horrible . . . But Not
  Kodansha comics is going all out with their fancy release for Vinland Saga. Those are some impressive extras for a manga. If you love action, intrigue, and historical drama you want to check out this manga when it comes out. It is filled with intense Viking action. That alone should convince you to spend all of your money.
• Less Like the Hunger Games and More Like the The 7th Guest
  The Toshimaen amusement park in Japan created a live action game based on PSYCHO-PASS. Sadly you do not run around playing laser tag with a Dominator. Instead you seem to go around solving puzzles to catch criminals in more of a live action Myst.
• Does that Mean the Beatles are the Most Powerful Band on Earth?
  Dave and Joel start Battle Tendency in their journey with Jojo. Is there such thing as a not so evil Nazi?
• Unlimited Reference Works
  Ogiue Maniax found a VERY unusual cameo in The Unlimited – Hyoubu Kyousuke.

• Educate Yourself About ParaNorman
  The makers at Focus Features have released this free, online making of to help with ParaNorman’s Oscar nomination. I’m pullinh for it as the winner this year!
• Sherlock and Watson Figures
  These sulpts look really nice. I’m not too familiar with Big Chief Studios but I’m hoping the price point won’t be too high.
• Sorcerer Tips
  I talked about the new interactive card game Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World a couple of months ago, here are some tips from the makers themselves. It definitely confirms the replay-ability of the game. I’ll be sure play more on my next trip.
• Anina from Uruguay
  One of the animated films I’m most curious about in 2013 is from South America. It is playing at the Berlin Film Festival and I’m hoping it shows up at the New York International Children’s Film Festival next year.

  I knew it was real! I hope I can find some when I go to Japan someday.

  Learn the history of Batman punching animals!
• There’s Nothing I Love More Than Dancing Robots
  This stop-motion using military mechs from Gundam to preform a song from Love Live! School Idol Project is pretty hilarious. I especially liked the non-dance parts such as the robot walking through the school yard.

Hisui’s picks:

• Green Eggs and Ham Radio
  Since I am at least 80% behind this episode existing in the first place I have an obligation to list it here. The All Geeks Considered podcast took my joke to heart and did a ham radio episode. Hopefully they can get Ed Chavez for the train geek episode.
• Internet Explorer is Muda Muda Muda!
  Someone naturally needed to draw the most popular web browsers as Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure stands.
• If You Need to Look Like Minnie Mouse
  Then this will show you how to style your hair like Jolyne Kujo.
• Getting There is Half the Fun (and all of the Experience)
  Especially after starting to play D&D again this little animation was fairly invigorating. It tells an epic fantasy adventure without every having any spoken dialog beside grunts.
• If You Did Not See Wreck-It Ralph
  Then you HAVE to see the Paperman short since Disney has it for free on YouTube.

There is only a little Twin Peaks fan-art on Pixiv, but no surprise the best one is of Audrey.
