  With the release of the first gameplay footage for the new SimCity in development, I’m becoming more sure I’ll be obsessed with it.

  I feel like most of what I come across that impresses me is shoe related! These Game of Thrones customs are pretty cool.
• “Hoodies, Roll Out!”
  Why do these Optimus Prime and Grimlock hoodies say “costume,” I’d wear them anytime!

  Another inventive MAD that combines 2 very unexpected titles.  If you like that you might also enjoy this.
  
• Kick Start My Heart
  Production I.G seems to be testing out Kickstarter with trying to raise funding and pre-orders with their first project funded through the site. I am curious how many fans will actually put their money where their mouth is in regard to innovative projects.
• Celebrating Labor Day
  Gundamn finally gets around to looking at the lengthy Patlabor TV series. Time to look at the most realistic real robot series.
• Gundam Double OH NO!
  While it is not Gundam SEED Destiny (thank goodness) the second season of Gundam 00 is hardly the more popular of the two halves of the show. The Veef show looks into why this is.
• Type-Moon News Round Up
  
  • All According to My Calculations: An unexpected addition has been revealed to roster of Under Night In-Birth. A certain Egyptian alchemist has joined in the fight.
    
  • Fate/Zero Boxing Day: A look at the Graphig++ Fate/Zero toys.

  Powerman 5000 is not involved in this mash-up video of the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation watching the first Star Wars movie. (Note: when I say first movie I mean A New Hope. There is no other first Star Wars movie.)

  Sometimes the brave just follow the link and see where it leads. BTW it is safe for work so don’t worry about that.
• Look on My Works, Ye Mighty, and Despair!
  Project X Zone is one of those games us nerdy anime fans will always want but can never have. Just LOOK at this Gurren Lagann styled opening. Plus this is the closest will have to more Gemini Sunrise.

  • Will Carl Li Just Buy Alice Kuonji Figures Because of Her Dead Eyes?: Even more Type Moon Nendoroids news.
  • The HD Version of the 5th Holy Grail War: Sentai picks up the Blurays for the Fate/Stay Night TV anime.

• Vinylmation Debuting New Look
  I have not been a huge fan of Disney’ Vinylmation line of toys with the exception of their robot sets. But now they are bringing out new molds that will definitely entice me and are of course true to each character they create. No surprise these will be a bit more expensive than other sets and maybe that will save me from going crazy.
• Ask Chris VS. His 14-year-old Self
  Chris made a mistake everyone and now he must go back and read this terrible comic that he once touted as great. This Captain America comic is truly bad but it goes so far as to be totally hilarious.
• My Childhood Was a Lie
  Blowing on your Nintendo cartridges was harmful? Heck, I still blew on Gameboy Advance cartridges. And I’m pretty sure I’ve done that to clear the DS, too. OH WELL.

• Genndy Tartakovsky’s (Almost) Finished Luke Cage Comic
  Definitely my favorite thing I’ve seen this week. It is a shame that a regime change at Marvel as well as Genndy’s new association with Sony will probably prevent this project from ever being finished.
• Adele Adkins 007
  I’m looking forward to the new James Bond movie and now they’ve revealed British singer Adele will be recording the feature song for the film, too. She hasn’t been in the studio lately and was reported to be taking a couple of years before another album so it is exciting news that a new song will be upcoming very soon.
• Let’s Hope a Doctor Stranger Comic By G.R.R.M. Happens
  Game of Thrones author George R. R. Martin went on record to say he’d love to take on Marvel’s Sorcerer Supreme. I hope Marvel takes this wish seriously!
• Today’s Secret Ingredient is . . . Les Miz!
  Iron Chef Chairman Kaga is an accomplished actor and singer, here he is featured as Jean Valjean. Random but totally awesome.

• Searching for the Diamond Crevasse
  The Veef show finishes up it’s Macross music retrospective with the most contemporary decade. That means that it mostly focuses on Macross Zero and Frontier but there is still a good deal to talk about outside of that. Like the fact that the Ali Project did a cover of My Boyfriend is a Pilot and other oddities.
• Sexy Boxes We Will Never Get
  Macross world shows off the new Macross 7 boxes. They also have some other announcements that came from the 30th Macross anniversary.
• Jojo’s News Round Up
  • Rella Rella Rella Rella, Pizza Mozzarella!: Some news about the voice cast for the new Jojo’s game as well as new game-play footage.
  • Haberdashery Combat Lessons With Robert Edward O Speedwagon: Some solid footage of the new Jojo’s anime.
  • CLAMP Can Draw More Than Jojo’s Yaoi (they just rarely want to): Ultra Jump’s tribute booklet for Jojo’s is pretty amazing.
  • You’ve Got the Touch: Jojo’s themed gloves that keep your hands warm while still letting you use touch screen devices.
  • The Words Will Make You Out ‘n’ Out: With that news about the ending it is hard not to be excited.
