Now that Avril and Victorique have finally met it seems a game of both romance and mystery is afoot. Several people have died in the exact same way in the clock tower and Kazuya is warned that it is all connected to a history the country of Saubure would rather keep quiet. And what does the increasing sinister Bryan Roscoe have to do with all of this?
When Avril and Kazuya go to see a movie, Avril attempts to keep him from Victorique by showing him a clock tower on campus that looks exactly like the one in the film. As it turns out the similarity is no coincidence and soon Kazuya and Victorique are uncovering a mystery involving an immortal alchemist, court intrigue, a grisly murder, and a puzzling pop-up book. When someone else also dies under mysterious circumstances in the clock tower how does their death tie into the events that took place long ago?
Summer vacation has come while most students are going home or going on holiday, Victorique is stuck on an empty campus. Kazuya has the choice between spending a month with Victorique or staying with Avril in a fancy house on the Mediterranean. Will Kazuya and Victorique’s typical bickering convince him to go on a beach side adventure or will he stay with his grumpy but lonesome companion?
