This is a bonus segment of the Speakeasy Podcast we like to call Crime Scene Investigations. These are random bonus podcasts that we record about various events. There is no regular schedule for these. We will put them up as quickly as we can when the opportunity for one occurs.
We talk guests, panels, and ramble a lot about theoreticals when it comes to Otakon’s future plans.

Man, so much west coast hate! ;p
Which is fine ’cause I really want to get you to AX eventually, as a panelist. I’ll say this; if you can get a panel approved for AX and I’ll pay for your hotel (Day 0-4) and treat you to dinner!
What say you? ;D
Oh, and I’m not sure what that person meant about entry being free after a while for ticketed events at AX. That can’t be for concerts; those take place outside the con center and you absolutely will be checked for tickets.
At the Porter Robinson concert, though, they told us those of us in the nosebleed seats that we could go to the front rows since I guess people weren’t sure about the secret guest announcement Crunchyroll was talking up a storm about and didn’t want to fork out the extra $20 for premium seating.
I also did notice more ticketed events you had to pay for at AX, but that’s just how it is here in L.A… lol!
Thanks for clarifying some of the Anime Expo practices. Still sounds crazy to me!
As for your generous offer, you are too kind to bloggers like us. We’ll just have to see where we are when next con season rolls around!
